Airless - yes, really. Even with this intention I shoot RAW as well, in case it would be better for a mono conversion, but I also shoot with the mindset that there's a potential for two versions (if not more) of an exposure. Dramatic mono is a passion of sorts, and sometimes color can be a distraction. The mix of the types of street lighting that one encounters today can be confounding at times too. It appears you just don't care for B&W work, or am I wrong? Nothing wrong with that, but tastes will vary for reasons one may or may not be able to define. (I hate carrots, BTW. No offense to those that don't feel the same [g]). For your consideration, one in color is below based on a Portra 800 (?) VSCO film style.

. . . Well, I like carrots and I like this color version better than the B&W one.

. . . I'm not always against this B&W thing that you and Ray and a few others are usually posting here but for the most part, a well done color rendition is more appealling to me.

As I've had a little time after the attention to the JPGs I've turned to the RAW/color, and I know what you mean.  I love too many different styles is my problem.   And I can't help but hear all opinions of this nature when I'm in the process - it helps me to figure out my own preference v. what I want to show an audience.   I think my penchant not to post just a single image is about the audience.   Part is often about conveying the experience of the session, the other part to offer more potential for approvals [LOL!].
