Nex-5N vs Nex-5R

It is a good suggestion but, I think, not practical. I don't see any way for me to be able to go into a camera store, borrow each camera and take it for a 10 minute "test drive".

Some of the local camera stores will let me use the camera, but only inside where the lighting is terrible and there is not much variety of things to take photos of. Other stores will let me walk outside to take images, but don't have all of the cameras available. Still others will not open sealed boxes for me to even try the camera.

And, of course, there is nothing to do with places like Amazon. I cannot order each camera, take some photos, return it and then try the next. They tend to get annoyed.
