Need help with manual settings for indoor's photography on my Canon EOS 600D please?

Hi everyone

We all know indoor shots are the hardest settings to learn, much practice needed!

Have got the ISO down packed, that was the easy setting to figure out.

Advice please on correct settings for dogs, people & birthday cakes with people in them would be much appreciated.

Also we live in an old house with a lack of lighting in all rooms.

I have a "Canon EOS 600D camera, Macro & Telephoto Lens.
