CA is hardly visible, and I could only detect a small amount of it when I shot foliage against the sun, at 24mm and f/2.8. But who shoots things against the sun at f/2.8 at 24mm?

I didn't test this and might be another good way to do see it: shooting the city lights and neons wide open at 24mm. If I have the chance I'll test it.

But don't worry about CAs. That said, I shoot with a D700 and the D800 might reveal more flaws.
