Nikon1 V1 30-100mm lens question

Lesser priced zoom of the same range? There's only one 10-100mm zoom, the power zoom designed for shooting video. It is substantially larger and heavier than the 30-100mm zoom. Since its a power zoom the zoom is done with a slide switch, not a zoom ring as with the other zoom lenses. Zooming is very smooth and quiet.
