24-120 F4 Reviews?

I shoot weddings for living... Had 24-70 since it's release in November 2007 along with D3 and 14-24... Real workhorse, my most used lens, super fast AF, sharp wide open...

When I've got 24-120VR F4 - I was blown away by its sharpness! IMHO - but its sharper than 24-70... AF speed is a little slower (but way faster than 28-300VR), so I use 24-120 for weddings when I have enough light to keep my second D3s in the bag with 70-200VRII... Absolutely love it as a walk around lens (sold 28-300 for it) on my D800!!!

And BTW: who said that its not sharp at 120mm wide open? LOL...

P.S. Sold my little over 5 years old 24-70... just to get a new one and be covered for upcoming repairs (hopefully not), rubber ring replacements, adjustments and cleanings for the next 5 years... But will keep 24-120VR for everything when I absolutely don't need F2.8 or crazy AF speed of 24-70...
