GH3 vs. D800 Shot on the Same Job.

When we test like this, we import all the files into LR4 and change the name upon import.  We typically choose the camera we are collecting data on as the file name so later we can search the network here for as much info as possible.  Sorry if the file name confused you, it's just our process.

Sorry, you did not gain any thing at all from this video?  Will did not give us the OK to post these GH3 images, it's the GH3.  I think there's an issue with this particular GH3 we have being a "special" firmware from Panasonic that we cannot post images from.  I know that it's shooting video in PAL and driving me nuts.

Yes, I was very happy to see that.  Will tried to get it to hop over to the yellow dog in that video clip and it would stick on the black dog.  there's 6 clips just like that here.  the Nikon BTW made a mess with video AF.  : (

I was one of the last ones to hop on the M43 bus here being the video guy.  We used HVX camcorders thru a switcher for years, then when we saw what the GH2's could do (feed live video out AND record the same video to a card) we could get rid of the switcher and record multicam setups in HD, drop them into final Cut as Multicam and swtich in post.  It's a BIG timesaver, better quality, smaller file size and the quality is SO much better.
