I don't think so. Pay $20 more and get the chipped version as seen HERE.

I'm surprised that the Bower version of this lens is so much cheaper than the Samyang version. They're supposed to be the exact same lens. The Samyang 14mm has been getting good reviews.

Hmmm.... I just got the Rokinon (chipped) version from Amazon for $383

It came in yesterday but was supposed to arrive last Friday. Had I got it then, I would have had the weekend to play with it. Unfortunately I won’t have time to play with it till this upcoming weekend.

That said, from what little I’ve observed, the few pictures I’ve taken seem be pretty sharp. The packaging is no frills, but the lens build seems to be pretty solid.

This is for a Nikon D800E.
