Yes, depending on how you have the eye sensor setup.
I thought that the eye sensor shut off the LCD. Or can you see on the VF the point where your finger is pointing on the LCD (now acting like a mouse device but without an image).
Yes, the sensor is just to the right side of the EVF eyecup and you can use your finger on it easily. But if you hold the camera too close to your shirt for instance, it will trigger the EVF and cut out the disply. You can deactivate it as well.
