GH3 vs. D800 Shot on the Same Job.

Yes, we find that for a blend of stills and video, the Lumix / Olympus are the way to go.  In fact, we just trained a super talented seniors shooter, Ty Fischer (http://www.fischink.com/seniors/site/) to get started shooting hybrid eProducts to sell to seniors next season.  We struggled with the DSLR and pretty much gave up.  He contacted Will and we wen to Olympus and got them to cough up an EP3 for him and he LOVES it.  He is into shallow DOF, so that leaves Sony out - they don;t do fast glass much compared to Lumix and Olympus.

And on the prime lenses - they are GREAT.  We do like the Xpro the best btw, for photo and a little video.  But for a 50/50 hybrid camera, all the Lumix GX1 and newer are great, the Olympus OMD and EP3 and newer are perfect for pros to start selling hybrid.
