Bulkiness, really?
There's a (minimum) size limit to (good) ergonomics, and you're forgetting that lenses also make part of the (photo) system...
The GH3 with the (big) 100-300 Panasonic Zoom is still a very small camera by my standards! Try to put the equivalent lens on the D90 and report back, please...
