70-200 F4 Heavy Breather?

The specs show it certainly has a higher possible maximum magnification.

I lack both the data and math to calculate the location of the front nodal point of a non-trivial lens design.  But based on some "back of the envelope" calculations, my best estimate is that at minimum focus, the maximum focal length will be in the 175-185mm range.

Now that the lens is shipping, we should get some real data (as opposed to anonymous hearsay) Real Soon Now.
