Is X-E1 AF really better than XPro-1 ? Did anybody compare them with the same lens ?

I apologize in advance if the matter has been already discussed, but I wonder if anybody has compared the AF performance of the X-E1 with X-Pro1, with the same lens.
I am not interested in the AF speed, I can accept that it's slow.. but what disturbs me a lot is the fact that in poor light and in particular with the 60mm prime the X-Pro1 hunts and often doesn't lock on anything. I have missed too many shots due to that and I hope the X-E1 is better.
Second question: has anybody compared image quality of the 18-55 zoom at the wide end with the 18mm prime? Does it make sense to replace the 18mm prime with the more versatile zoom? I would do it only if the zoom is at least as good as the prime (apart from the max aperture of course).
I'd like to get the opinion of people that actually tested the parts and own the cameras, thanks!
