a prelude to a hot day

A wispy dome filled the sky to the west as evening fell, it was the shallow water which first showed an amber tint then all else followed. Soon the world was filtered ocher, greens resounding in olive chorus, the heat hugging to me without relief.

It would be very hot tomorrow, oven hot, nature was spreading its tinted blanket across the evening landscape as a prelude to that.

All images the result of stacking at least 20 iso100 dr400 6mp handheld images in Microsoft ICE, 120mp per frame for around iso23 each, the software did well with the water. Thanks for looking.
