Do you have a budget requirement? If under $300 go with the Canon S100. More than $600, go with the Sony RX100. Larger sensors will get you better images. Whatever camera you each, learn to find the continuous shooting setting. This'll let you fire off multiple shots quickly.

Also look up te Pedco Wrap Camera Case on Amazon. This is the best option for going from camera protection to taking shots quickly.
