OP has said that he's interested in landscape and better bokeh. I'm not sure why a GR with 28mm is unsuited to landscape. I don't think one would typically expect good bokeh from a 28mm WA lens, so it's probably predictable that there's better elsewhere.

No-one has addressed how the Fuji's compare to the OMD. I should acknowledge that I don't own the XE1 yet (or the OMD) - we're still awaiting the arrival of the Fuji zoom kits in Australia.....it's taking a loooong time. However, I've been doing my research and struggling with much the same choice.

There have been a few posts about this. For me the XE1 is ahead by virtue of its EVF, classic controls, IQ and native lens quality. They add up to a winning picture for my main interest, which is landscape, family and travel photography. That doesn't mean its perfect. The downsides to be lived-with are a lousy grip, average AF, no focus peaking, and no environmental sealing. Apparently its video isn't as polished as some of the other mirrorless cams either, but that's not a priority for me at all. It might be said in recognition of the OMD, that its AF appears to be better than the Fujis. As is its video. And it's environmentally sealed. If those aspects are important to the OP, the OMD may meet his needs. Its owners appear to be a happy lot over in the Olympus Forum.

The lack of environmental sealing is a concern in what are actually premium cameras from Fuji. I'm disappointed in this aspect of their design - they're so well thought out in other respects. Coming from a Pentax K5 DSLR, I can say that there is a wonderful assurance which flows from water and dust resistance when you're out on hike and a storm comes in....... Let's hope they adopt a better philosophy in some future model.

Cheers, Rod

The OMD is great except that above ISO 1600 there is noise similar to the X series above 6400
