What would you buy? D600 or K5II/s

I just did a search on DPR for failed D600 weather sealing.

Zip.

Did a Google search.

Same - nothing at all.

I did a Google search using D800 weather sealing fail, too.

All I get are comments from guys saying they've subjected their cameras to rain forests, rafting, climbing down waterfalls, etc. with no problems.

The D600 is sealed identically to the D800 according to the specs.

How then, can you infer that the D600 weather sealing is suspect? What are you basing your assertion on?

What facts do you have that I have been unable to find?

Let's just be reasonable and admit that Nikon (and likely Canon, too) knows a few things about weather sealing.

Whoops! Just did an identical search for the K5. The first hit was some poor guy at the other Forum, whose camera died on him the first time he used it in the rain.

I didn't look any further...

Edit: Please note, I'm not knocking the weather sealing in Pentax cameras, which have been proven to be quite reliable. I just don't like it when someone tries to invent problems with other manufacturers' products when there isn't any evidence to support the comments.
