candid shots weddind with75 mm f 1.8, all taken handheld/ last shot was cropped. i was a bit far.

I frankly thought this lens would give results that would be razor sharp and I'm not seeing that here. Seems the focus is off somehow. I don't know if you upped the ISO to allow a higher shutter speed would have helped any as I think you need a higher speed for a 150mm equiv lens. Maybe in this lighting photos that 'pop' are not possible? I'm sure composition will come with experience and guidance from those on this forum. If I might add to get the best photos one must at times be visible.
