How many leave the Big Dog (D700/D800) at home while traveling and take a smaller camera instead?

Each time I'm in a similar situation, I'll take the Canon S90 (and S70 before that), thank you. Goes in the cargo pocket and won't make your friends wait. Once set up (28mm, -1, max aperture, ISO100), you can operate it with one hand and you'll capture most of the spontaneous photo opportunities that you would inevitably miss with a DSLR in your bag that flops about.

Then again, always being the overly attached photographer, I'm looking for a harness that would attach the D600/D800 firmly against my heart... That would solve some of the issues.
