Nikon 1 and the Sigma OS lenses - current state of things

It appears if you live in Japan, you can get firmware updates for all of the OS lenses (or most at least).  As this forum user has had luck: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/post/50398981

I just called Sigma US (again, today), and had this reply.  We do not have any firmware updates to make the OS lenses compatible.  Then I was put on hold, and when the rep came back, he said he checked the 'dropbox' from Japan and there was nothing available.

He also laughed when I mentioned using the V1 with my 120-300OS, and said, "that dorky little thing" (yes, those exact words).  So it looks like they are not in a hurry or taking it seriously at this point.

Please take a moment to both write and call to pressure them to get the firmwares from Japan, as they obviously exist.
