His wife put on a great tribute concert for him with all his mates playing at the Roundhouse, and this year produced a book of his writings. I went to launch and there were some of his old rock friends there, a fun evening at the BBC Maida Vale studio. I think when I saw Procul harem they were actually supporting the Stones at the Lyceum. Pete Townsend still lives near me and I last talked to him when he was behind me in the queue for the cash machine! I couldn't be without my music.
