Second body for wildlife photography

Yes, the D300 Mafia have been waiting for the purported D400 with sharply varying degrees of patience for five years now.  We all hope for the sake of their collective sanity that the annoucement comes soon :^)

The D600 is a superb landscape and people camera, although I'd say if you're at two grand, you might as well go for it and get the D800e, which is simply great.
