Sony's hand will be forced. I dont think the current crop of FF cameras from any manufacturer will maintain the high price as the last crop of FFs. The pot is just muddled with FFs and most of them have already started to come down in price. Unless Sony wants to sell this camera smilarly to their concept of the 500 mm F4, then price has to come down. There is no indication that demand is steep for it to maintain its current price.
