American Kestrel

To all,

I was able to capture a couple of "cooperative" kestrels this afternoon. Using the pickup truck as a blind, I was able to get pretty close.  I used a Canon 1.4x extender attached to the new 600mm f/4.0 lens.  The combination worked very well.
