4:3, 3:2 or 16:9?

Short answer: Yes

But due to the oversize of the sensor  that makes it multi-aspect it's different than the crop for the different aspects on Fz's that do not have  oversized\multi-aspect ratio sensors. The Lx & most Tz\Zs series cams have the oversized sensor so pixels can be maximized in all aspect ratios & no focal distances are compromised in any aspect... The Lx3 review on this site shows the diagram of the oversized\multi-aspect sensor which is also available somewhere on the Panasonic website...

There is a multi-aspect shooting mode on these cams with the oversized sensor... The earlier models of which only had 4:3, 3:2 & 16:9 & since the last FWU in the Lx3 & later models 1:1 makes a total of 4 aspect ratios that can be captured with one press of the shutter button... That's 4 separate shots recorded in one press... For framing ease the outlines of each aspect ratio are visable in the EVF\LCD when the multi-aspect shooting mode is enabled, which looks like this: http://m3.i.pbase.com/o6/02/5302/1/109465503.BjJd6RVs.P1020311Web.jpg minus the 1:1 which would also be included on cams that have 1:1.
