Yes, it is a slight jump and image is "rock solid" stable in viewfinder BUT - when you look at the images at 100% in LR - you can clearly see that images without VC are crispier! I guess it may be related as well to mirror slap and VC reacting the wrong way or something...
VC works wonders on videos for sure, but for stills - it is a disappointment... At list for me...
