Amazon X10's

Santa (my wife) recently asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I think I am finally going to take the plunge and ask for an X10.

Undoubtedly Santa (again, my wife) will purchase the X10 from Amazon.com. My question is: has anybody recently received an X10 from Amazon? Are they shipping the new sensors without the "white orb" issue? Being that Amazon does such a large volume I would have to assume that they have pushed through their original stock and are now selling new ones.

One final thing troubles me about the X10. Being that it was released over a year ago what are the changes that a new, revised (X11?) version gets released sometime soon? I would hate to bit the bullet only to find that a new model is released 1Q 2013.
