Frame Rate of D800 with AA Batteries

For best performance (capacity and frame rate) which are the best AA batteries to use with the D800 and battery grip? Alkaline, Nimh or lithium?

Is the full 6fps in dx mode achieved with 1.2v batteries, or does this require 1.5v AAs?
