On the primacy of exposure

I downloaded the full size large (obviously not original) from your gallery and they are very soft indeed. 2 and 6 seem shot stopped down so more to judge. Must just be a light/lens/resolution problem as so much smaller than the originals I guess. Always a problem trying to judge low resolution pictures without any original resolution. Like looking 4x6 prints though a magnifying glass.

Then it was calculated from a single reading?  That helps, thanks for clarifying. It appears then the effects of PP greatly overshadow the differences in exposure. They do show well how much detail can be lost in the highlights if not accounted for. Might have to find a more static scene and more consistent light so less PP variables.   Thanks for sharing, interesting.
