HDCP is a good thing to look out for, though the only time HDCP ever came into play (so far) for me was when our 47" LCD TV was waiting for repair, and I had to connect an HDCP compliant monitor to our cable box to watch TV, so I had to temporarily re-purpose my primary HP ZR24W computer monitor for TV use, since none of the other half dozen or so LCD monitors we have were HDCP compliant.
