Print side of Epson Cold Press Bright??

Just purchased my first package of Epson Cold Press Bright. It's in 17x22 size, and the top sheet in the box has a sticker stating "Print side up." However, the clear poly packaging opened on the back (non-print side); i.e., the adhesive closure tab was on the non-print side. I've always been told that Epson papers had the adhesive opening tab on the print side. Is this something new? I'm worried that the sticker could have been put on the wrong side.

It's very difficult to determine the print side. I used the wet finger method to see which side is stickier (with the OB coating), but I couldn't tell any difference. One side seems slightly more textured, and according to the label, this is the non-print side. Does this jive with your experience?

I cut a sheet to letter size and printed on what I think is the print side, and the print came out fine. But I'd like to make sure I'm printing on the side that Epson meant to be printed on.

Thanks,

Jim
