4:3, 3:2 or 16:9?

Newbie question here. I don't mind cropping during PP, I just want to make full use of my LX7 sensor with as little loss of info as possible. Does anyone know what the optimal aspect ratio is to maximize use of all the real estate on the LX7 sensor?

The review says LX7 sensor has max resolution of 3648 x 2736 (which comes out to 4 to 3 ratio of width to height). Does that mean that shooting in 4:3 is optimal if I don't want to crop my field of view until post processing?
