XZ-1 not designed for low light usage !!  Are you having a laugh because if you are its not very funny. I purchased an XZ-1 in may as pocket camera to supplement my Pentax k10. Visiting Copenhagen in June, the photos taken in the observatory in natural low light, no flash are awesome compared to the same shots 4 years ago taken on k10 with couldn't cope with low light and needed flash.   Alice Cooper concert at London's Wembley Arena. Half way back in the arena and up in the heavens with 4x optical and 4x digital the snakes markings , facial features, fret board of guitar are crystal clear. I think before criticizing the equipement it would make more sense to learn how to use it. The XZ-1 is an awesome bit of kit and having the VF-2 viewfinder makes it far more versatile than anything Canon offers.
