You need to find out if this problem is related to the IBIS (which is different from the one used in the Pen models) or if it is related to the sensor or .... whatever.

Try IS Off with a reasonable shutter speed first and next try IS1 On and Antishock with 1/8s next. If you can get Ok images with these settings then i'd say there is something wrong with the IBIS. If not, something else is wrong. In any case, i'd contact the Olympus customer service and afterwards send them the camera for repair/exchange. You need to add a problem description and some sample pics showing what is wrong.

I shoot a lot with the 12-50 and with the 45/1.8 and have not experienced the shutter shock problem since i bought my cam in April. It is for sure not present in each and every E-M5 but sadly some users have it  - although not as many as you might think when reading forums.  Peiple usually don't post when not having a problem.
