I never found the flip out screen to be all that great of a feature really. The way I see it, it would add unwanted bulk to the camera body & is aways one more flimsy thing that can break. If I need a low angle I lay on the ground. etc..

I do own one camera with a flip out screen & I never use it. Now that I have an X-E1, the Canon G11 will be used in it's underwater housing exclusively.
