I had the 7-14/4.0 as well (we lost 2 cameras, 7 lenses, 2 flashes and lots of other stuff to a burglar) and it was "glued" to 7mm, more than 90% of my UWA-pics were at 7mm. If I would buy the 9-18, the knowledge of a 7mm would drive my crazy .....
