110-240V? Travel voltage question

I'm heading to Cuba in January, and I know much of the country is 240V AC.  Now, I know next to nothing about electricity, but looking at the battery charger for my T3i, it says ​Input: AC100-240V 50/60HZ​.  Does this mean that the charger will work on any voltage in that range, and actually charge the battery?  Or do I need a 240V-110V converter in order to charge a battery?

I know I'll need an adapter for the plug itself, but I just wonder if I actually need a voltage converter.
