Epson R3000 printers question

I used an HP B9180 printer for several years. HP recommended leaving the power on full time because the printer self serviced itself daily. What do you recommend for the Epson R3000, my new printer.
I am an infrequent printer running prints twice a month for competitions. Shall I leave it on all the time or shut it down between printing jobs?
