A good picture is worth one word - IMPACT.
The HDR Mode take three exposures and combines them.. That essentially what I did manually. This is a bracket exposure at -2.0EV, 0.0EV, and +2.0EV combined in Photomatix Software using the Natural setting. Then ran in Photoshop with additional adjustments.
Furthermore by bracketing, I also get the added benefit of having RAW... HDR setting is JPEG only.. But the next time I am out I will add one of the HDR shots to compare just for fun.
