Critique on close-up portrait and lighting please.

I shot this with the woman sitting just inside the house, in front of large sliding glass doors. I was standing outside on the deck shooting in. I had her hold a large silver reflector on her lap, essentially creating clam shell lighting in a natural method.

The lighting ended up appearing like a ring flash I think.

It was shot with the 5d mkII, 70-200 f2.8 II

I like the effect, it was just practice so not a paid shoot but I'm wondering what others think of this look. It's probably not everyone's cup of tea so don't hold back on the critiques, good or bad.
