It's just what Nikon has chosen as naming policy... do you see any different? 1digit for pro, 3digit -even numbers for FX, 4digit - odd numbers for DX... what makes you think is "my opinion"? I don't have opinion on facts... facts are facts and opinions are opinions... Do you see a current product not obeying to the current naming policy of them?
