I have it set for constant color mode and it says it's shooting at 5600 but when I use a expodisc or grey card, it white balances at ~5050.
I have several heads and I tried it with multiple heads and they're all about the same.
Anyone else experience this?
BTW, I'm shooting with a Buff 24x36 softbox with both diffusers. Softbox is new so it shouldn't be doing anything funny to the temp....

OK, the ONLY answer must be that the Einsteins are all wrong, you have been sold duff units and you need to send them all back for recalibration along with perhaps a firmware upgrade and new tubes and never use them again, or you should just stick with Elinchrom instead (as long as their modelling lights don't melt the PCB's)..

Or maybe your camera has something wrong with the calibration?

Before you do anything else check the colour temperature with a proper meter, as anything else is just speculation.

Theres only one sun. Why do I need more than one light to get a natural result?
