At ISO 100 the 300Ws will suffice for f/8 to f/11, depending on the lighting distance (which is actually the determining factor - not the size of the studio). What speaks against the higher output flash is that if you constantly use a 600Ws unit at 1/2 power you increase the flash duration without gaining anything.

Thanks Peter, Yes I understand regarding the 'Lighting Distance' that's why I gave the dimensions of the studio to give an understanding of the working area I will be working in, given the size of the modifiers.
I would be at a minimum of 1m & maximum of 3m away from the subject with key light & the fills would be max 2m away.
I'm not sure I understand you regarding not gaining anything (bar the extra cost) using half power on the 600 with a faster flash duration? Would I not be benefiting if using slower shutter & it freezing any movement giving a sharper image using a faster duration? I'm assuming that the flash duration of the 300@300ws would be the same as the 600@ half power?
I'm pretty sure the 300's would suffice but I just need that definite 'Yes they will' from someone before diving in!
