Need some CC on a few shots - Thank you

I'm no expert but a minute or two playing around in Lightroom 4.2 gave this result with one of your photos including straightening the horizon.  It may be too oversaturated for your liking but it shows how a flat image can be rescued with contrast and other adjustments.

If I was you I would be happy with the 7D and the lenses you have and concentrate on learning some post processing skills. Lightroom is a fantastic bargain and the latest version is the best yet.  Spending money on that and a decent book or two - and looking at photos produced by respected photographers so you have a basis of comparison - will be much more effective than throwing money at a new camera and lenses.  Good luck!
