Win 7 64 bit boot up time

Hi I have just upgraded to win 7 64x over the last 2 weeks it has got so slow at start up I think there may be some thing a miss, it takes 7 to 10 min's to boot up the Hdd light is on all the time at boot up so it is doing some thing, when it has booted up it works fine it shuts down fine.

it used to boot up in about 1min from switch on to full use.
