I find the viewing angle of the X-E1 lcd to be quite good. Having that green horizon line on the screen helps too. A work around is to carry a small mirror with you if you are using a low tripod. The Flip-bac solution can be useful, but it is quite thick and it means flipping the mirror everytime you want to use the lcd screen.
