I don't think so,

I think the FX (full frame) sensor is absolutely to stay. But will be used more and more in smaller sized (translucent/mirrorless) bodies. Also camera's will be more aimed at taking both still and video imagery.

Economic times are not top at the moment. I know quite a lot of people who own the d700 and have no plan at all to upgrade in the nearby future. The D800 is specifically aimed at those needing a lot of resolution, the D600 is designed with the general photographer in mind. With the prices going down a lot lately, probable a lot of people are waiting to see it going down further.
