How do you deal with the absence of the flip LCD screen?

and your point is?

If you have been doing something the same way for 30+ years and it has worked for you, and you are comfortable with it why bother changing? Except for adjusting menus etc, I seldom use the LCDs on my Nikons or my X100. To me the added complexity of a flip and swivel LCD screen is just something else to fail or break.

Oh and although I am pushing 70 I am still able to bend over, squat and kneel to get the perspective that I want. I may have to change when I get old, but until then I keep doing what works for me.
