I'd advise not to use micro fiber cloth if you don't want to scratch the sensor for real. Micro fiber may appear soft, but it is actually lots of little plastic needles. Guess why it's popular for general household cleaning. It is actually pretty abrasive.

I even stopped using micro fiber for cleaning my lenses. I'm using a blower, being careful not to leave print marks with my fingers it's usually enough. Other than that cotton is my most favorite tool to clean lenses.
