DNP hasn't realized Windows 8 was coming, apparently. Maybe they didn't think 2013 is either?

Re: Windows 8 drivers -
Good afternoon Brian,
Thank you for your interest in DNP, unfortunately Windows 8 is currently not supported. DNP is now evaluating the compatibility of Win8 OS with the DNP printer products. For reliable operation, please continue to use Win7, Vista or Win XP until DNP can confirm proper operation in the newly released OS. We appreciate your ongoing business and patience

Best regards,
That’s like saying, “DNP is now evaluating the compatibility of the year 2013 with our DNP printers. We knew 2013 was coming for a long time. We had release candidates of 2013, and beta copies of 2013, and software development kits of 2013. But despite the fact that the era of 2012 is nigh, we still are not prepared for 2013. So in the meantime, please continue to use 2012 in all of your business applications until we get off our butts and realize that Father Time waits for no one, and we have been dragging our collective behinds. In the meantime, your $1200 printer and the $1000+ of media you purchase from us each year that is critical to your business will just have to wait. We appreciate the fact that your investment is either obsolete or unusable until we can figure out how to deal with this coming 2013 before our clients start getting really upset.”
I’m sorry but that’s entirely unacceptable.
